Residents in every 50 US states will mobilize to protest over the weekend, united around a central theme: America is descending toward autocracy and can be no rulers in America.

Millions are expected to take part in the anti-authoritarian demonstrations, representing the second instance for this movement that in June gathered during one of the largest days of protest ever recorded in the US. Rallies are set across over 2,700 sites, including tiny communities to metropolitan hubs.

The existing president has cracked down in American cities, seeking to deploy government agents and adding immigration agents. Officials are seeking to criminalize opposition, targeting left-leaning organizations alleged to be supporting terrorism or aggressive actions.
