Countrywide Protests Projected as Countless Individuals Assemble for Anti-Authoritarian Events

Residents in every 50 US states will mobilize to protest over the weekend, united around a central theme: America is descending toward autocracy and can be no rulers in America.

Massive Participation Predicted

Millions are expected to take part in the anti-authoritarian demonstrations, representing the second instance for this movement that in June gathered during one of the largest days of protest ever recorded in the US. Rallies are set across over 2,700 sites, including tiny communities to metropolitan hubs.

Administration Crackdown combined with Community Pushback

The existing president has cracked down in American cities, seeking to deploy government agents and adding immigration agents. Officials are seeking to criminalize opposition, targeting left-leaning organizations alleged to be supporting terrorism or aggressive actions. Local governments have mostly pushed back, taking legal action to prevent federal deployments, and locals have taken to the streets to protest against the armed presence in their neighborhoods.

Partisan Statements

Allies in government have attempted to label the No Kings demonstrations as hostile to the nation and driven by antifa, the non-hierarchical political movement, and also asserting that these actions are extending the government shutdown. A prominent governor has announced he plans to assign his state's militia to the city ahead of the protests.

Projected Participation from Lawmakers

Several elected representatives, among them congressional members from the the left and third-party parties, are expected to participate in the demonstrations. This anti-authoritarian alliance has repeatedly emphasized its dedication to peaceful resistance, and tens of thousands of attendees have studied on safety and de-escalation tactics.

The key message for participants to uphold is the fact that the administration wants us to feel fear, yet we refuse to be pressured into fear and silence,” said an organizer from a participating coalition. “It is extremely crucial for people to be calm, to hold their heads high and to say what they care about, without being intimidated by that fear.”

Broad Alliance Backing

In excess of 200 organizations have aligned as collaborators supporting the fall rallies. Organizers have designated a number of key locations: including DC, the Bay Area, San Diego, Atlanta, New York City, Texas, Oahu, Beantown, Kansas City, Bozeman, Chicago Louisiana.

Core Idea behind these Rallies

The clear message of the movement emphasizes that the United States opposes authoritarian rule, a dig at the president’s growing dictatorship. Included in the points planners have emphasized are:

  • The administration is deploying taxpayer money to seize control, deploying federal forces to control American urban centers.
  • The president has said he wants additional time in office and “is already acting like an autocrat”.
  • The presidency has pushed its goals too far, ignoring the courts and reducing public programs as they remove people lacking proper procedure.

Previous Protests combined with Record Significance

The June anti-authoritarian protests drew millions across the nation, with estimates indicating that approximately 2 and 4.8 million people joined events across more than 2,000 venues making it likely the second-largest single day protest following the administration was inaugurated in January 2017”, topped only by the Women’s March previously.
